REVERB - The Music Society of Shivaji College allures all the zealous partakers to the annual cultural festival of our college "VIBRATIONS 2016", event "SWARANJALI ''16" on 4th February 2016- 10 am onwards. The specifics of the event are mentioned below:
[A] SOLO SINGING COMPETITION
Rules
1. Theme - Light Indian Singing except filmy songs.
2. For Preliminary Round, send your video/audio or youtube link at “swaranjalireverb@gmail.com” by 1st February 2016. Top 12 entries will be shortlisted for the Final Round.
For Final Round,
• Time Limit – 5 minutes including sound check and setup. Sound will be cut off after exceeding the time limit by 30 seconds.
• Maximum 2 Accompanists are allowed on stage.
• Venue – College Auditorium
3. No instruments will be provided.
4. Karaoke or any other forms of recorded tracks are not allowed.
5. Each member should carry their current college ID cards.
6. Only three entries per college are allowed.
7. Any misconduct by the participants will lead to on the spot disqualification.
8. Points will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
9. The last date for online registration is 1st February 2016.
10. Slots will be allotted on first come first serve basis from 8:30 am onwards.
11. Decision of judges will be final.
12. After 10:30 am no participants will be entertained.
[B] GROUP SINGING COMPETITION
Rules
1. Theme - Light Indian Singing including filmy songs.
2. For Preliminary Round, send your video or youtube link at "swaranjalireverb@gmail.com" by 1st February 2016. Top 6 entries will be shortlisted for the Final Round.
3. Time limit - 8 minutes including sound check and setup for the Final Round.
4. No instruments will be provided.
5. Maximum 3 accompanists are allowed on stage.
6. Each team must consist of a minimum of 4 vocalists. A team must not exceed 10 members including accompanists.
7. Karaoke or any other forms of recorded tracks are not allowed.
8. Each member should carry their current college ID cards.
9. Only one entry per college is allowed.
10. Any misconduct by the participants will lead to on the spot disqualification.
11. Points will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
12. The last date for online registration is 1st February 2016.
13. Slots will be allotted on first come first serve basis from 12 pm onwards.
14. Decision of judges will be final.
